Use Mealime’s official site or installed app to sign in. This MealPot guide cannot access your account or reset your password.
Start from the official Mealime website.
Go to Mealime’s website and use its Log in link to reach the web app. This is a useful starting point when search results mix product reviews, similarly named apps and old download pages. Check that you have reached the intended service before entering account details.
If you already have a working session on your phone, keep it available while you investigate another device. First copy any recipe links or personal information you need. Repeatedly signing out, clearing stored data or reinstalling is not a recipe-preservation method. Our switch checklist begins with keeping the information you can still access.
Follow the documented password reset.
Mealime’s password help, last updated in July 2019, describes the mobile route as Sign In, then “I don’t have my password”. Enter the email used for your Mealime account and choose Send instructions. Follow the reset link in the resulting email to set a new password.
The same article documents a web reset route and links to it directly. Use the official help page if you need that route. Labels can differ in a newer app version, so follow the equivalent recovery control if the interface has changed. Do not enter a password into the MealPot recipe backup tool; it does not need one.
If the reset email does not arrive.
Check the address you entered for a typing error and look in your spam or filtered folders. Search your email for an older message from Mealime to identify the address you originally used. If your household has used one account on several devices, ask which address belongs to that account before creating a new one.
A new empty account can look like missing favourites when you are simply viewing a different account. Compare the email shown in a working session with the one used for recovery. Avoid changing several things at once: recording the address and the exact error makes a support request much clearer.
An error message does not establish the cause.
A failed sign-in can involve the account, a connection, a browser or the service. Record what the screen actually says and whether the same account still works on another device. If you try another browser or network, keep a working session intact until you have saved what matters.
Read the closure guide for the announced timeline. One failed login before that date is not evidence that the whole service has already closed. Nor does a working login establish that every future account or recipe link will remain available. Treat observed behaviour and the official announcement as different pieces of information.
Send a useful support request.
Mealime’s password article names hello@mealime.com for further help. Explain the sign-in route you used, the device, the account email and the error message. Mention whether a reset email arrived and whether another session still works. You can describe these details without sending your current password or a private reset link.
For a billing-only problem, use the provider shown on your receipt and our cancellation instructions. You may be able to inspect an app-store subscription without recovering the Mealime account first. For removal of an inaccessible account, review the official email option in our deletion guide.
Save accessible recipes while you can.
If a public recipe link opens even while account login is failing, you can save that accessible recipe independently. The free MealPot website backup accepts supported recipe inputs without either account login. Inspect the preview and then open the downloaded file.
This does not unlock private favourites or bypass account access. A list of recipe titles, personal notes and weekly plans may still need to be copied from your own working session. Keep those records together so that resolving a login issue does not become the only way to organise the next dinner.

Can I back up a recipe without logging into Mealime?
An accessible public recipe can be backed up without account access. The tool cannot retrieve private account information.
Does a login error mean Mealime is already shut down?
No. Record the error and check the official announcement. One failed login is not enough to identify a service-wide outage.
