Is Mealime down or already closed?

The announced closure date is 21 October 2026. This guide was checked on 12 September 2026 and is not a live service-status monitor. For the developer’s announcement, use Mealime’s official notice. We cannot infer a current outage from an autocomplete phrase or an isolated report.

Before changing account settings or reinstalling an app, save any important information you can still read. An independent copy of a recipe or this week’s list can be useful while you investigate. Avoid troubleshooting steps that remove accessible local information before making that copy.

Identify the action that is failing

Write down the message and where it appears. “Mealime something went wrong” on sign-in is a different problem from a shop refusing a browser request. Keeping those details separate makes a support request more useful.

Mealime login problems

Reach sign-in through the official Mealime website rather than a search advertisement or a lookalike login page. Check that you are using the account associated with your existing recipes. The login guide links to the developer’s documented password-reset route.

A blank favourites list after signing into a different account is not evidence that the original collection has been deleted. Check the account details before creating more accounts or changing a subscription. The website backup tool does not need your password and cannot recover private account data.

Mealime share button not working

Open one recipe, use its more menu and look for Share, then Copy in the phone’s sheet. If the share sheet appears but a destination fails, try copying the recipe address instead of sending it directly to another app. The short-link guide explains what the copied address may look like.

When you can open the public recipe in a browser, keep a readable copy there or try the backup tool. If you cannot access it, use a file or text already saved. A tool cannot reconstruct an inaccessible private favourite solely from the name you remember.

Mealime HEB access denied and grocery errors

A retailer access-denied page can be a separate destination problem. Confirm which website returned it and whether you can open the retailer directly using its official service. Do not assume that a blocked shopping link proves the recipe catalogue is unavailable.

You can keep shopping from a readable ingredient list while investigating an online handoff. Verify product choices, quantities and the checkout total at the retailer. We do not provide a workaround that bypasses a retailer’s access controls or claim to diagnose a particular H-E-B error without evidence.

When to ask the developer for help

Keep the app version, device type, time of the error and the exact action that failed. Send account-sensitive details only through official support channels. A public community post can be useful for comparing symptoms, but avoid putting passwords, receipts or private account screenshots into it.

While waiting, use the switch checklist to save the recipes and preferences you can access. You do not need to settle on a replacement before making a readable backup of the information you use most.
